The media is abuzz with the news that Carrie Underwood is officially engaged! The season 4 American Idol got engaged to her hockey player boyfriend Mike Fisher on or around December 19th.
Fisher confirmed his engagement to Underwood in an interview with The Ottawa Citizen.
"It's true," Fisher told the newspaper. "We're both obviously excited and very happy and so, exciting times for sure." As of this writing, the wedding date has not been set yet.
Fisher plays forward for the Ottawa Senators and has been dating Underwood for about a year.
