In just over a month, Christmas Day - the movie "Unbroken" is in theaters. Unbroken is the amazing true life story of Olympian and war hero “Louie” Zamperini who survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal plane crash in WWII—only to be caught by the Japanese Navy and sent to a brutal prisoner-of-war camp. Zamperini became a born-again Christian after reluctantly attending a crusade led by evangelist Billy Graham in 1949. The story was told in the best-selling book Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. Angelina Jolie directed and produced the film and became close friends with Louie. She called him a hero and was able to show him a rough cut of the film before he passed away this summer at the age of 97.
