The Search is a live in-door presentation of the First Christmas story, and tours will run continuously during those times. Come anytime between 5:30p and 8p to experience what it may have been like on that first Christmas so long ago in Bethlehem on the eve of Christ’s birth. Admission is free. Donations of non-perishable food items and money brought to the manger will be distributed to North Ridgeville Community Care. This is the 26th year and 25th anniversary of SEARCH at Fields UM Church.
Search For The Christ Child is a free holiday celebration presented by the congregation of Fields United Methodist Church as a community service and outreach program. You will be greeted at the Friendship Inn when you arrive and led by a shepherd guide on an interactive trip following the star in the East and sharing in the experiences of the people of that time. Shepherds in the fields, heralding angels, local villagers, the Innkeepers, a street scene, the devious King Herod in his palace, and the manger scene are all presented LIVE with over 100 members and friends of Fields Church in costume and behind the scenes. Refreshments will be provided before your journey.
