Cleveland, OH – The Mt. Olive Baptist Church, will present the 2012 production of The Gospel Nativity by Thurston W. Coleman, Carolyn W. Allen and Javon Miller, for one performance only Saturday December 21 at 3:00 p.m. Performance will be held at The Mt. Olive Baptist Church Sanctuary, 3290 East 126th Street, between Kinsman Road and Abell Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44120.
This production is directed by Thurston W. Coleman, with music direction by Kimberly V. Harris and Larry L. Harris, Jr. and Choreography by Pamela E. Corbin.

The Gospel Nativity is the joyous account of an historic event that occurred 2,000 years ago. It’s a celebration that tells the original story of the Nativity in scripture, spoken word, music and dance. Based on the Gospel of St. Matthew and Luke, combined with other scriptures through-out the Bible, this song-play touches a special chord in the hearts of all. This thrilling and electrifying performance is passionately narrated by a thirty member cast who create a vivid depiction of the Birth of Jesus Christ. This heart-warming, spirit-filled, family event arrives just in time for the holidays. “The Gospel Nativity”: A Gospel Song Play created by Thurston W. Coleman, will become a holiday favorite.
