CLEVELAND’S 46TH ANNUAL PUERTO RICAN PARADE & LATINO FESTIVAL
 
The Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center has the honor of presenting the 46th Annual Puerto Rican Parade & Latino Festival of Cleveland, Ohio. Cultivating, preserving, showcasing and inspiring the Latino community in Northeast Ohio and beyond. The Center is a community based non-profit organization that provides a family oriented center to serve the entire Latino community.

The Puerto Rican Parade & Latino Festival celebrates Hispanic heritage and the diversity of Cleveland, drawing a yearly attendance of 60,000. The 2014 Festival will take place on Saturday, August 2nd from 12PM-12AM and Sunday, August 3rd from 12PM-10PM at the Cleveland Municipal Parking Lot, 1500 South Marginal Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44114.

Featuring the “Tony Tun Tun” accompanied by Cleveland Merengue Allstars with (8/2/14 at 9PM)). Also featuring “Ray De La Paz” (8/3/15) accompanied by Sammy De Leon.

It promises to be an energetic fun filled weekend, with many talented local musicians, dance groups and introducing a more interactive format with several open competitions and prizes

The Puerto Rican Parade, scheduled for Sunday, August 3rd at 1:30PM in Downtown Cleveland is always the colorfully vivid and boisterous main attraction, a showcasing of Puerto Rican pride and Latino culture. The route will be from East 13th Street and Superior westbound to East 9th Street turning to North Marginal Road to Festival Grounds.

The Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Center has been home to an array of arts-based programs, theatrical and musical performances. A gathering place to infuse the Latino culture into the community, celebrate our rich cultural heritage with free classes and youth oriented endeavors. The Puerto Rican Parade & Latino Festival is the culmination of this mission. People of all ages and ethnicities are welcome to come together to learn, share, create, and celebrate. All three days are open to the general public to enjoy the lively diverse atmosphere.
