Saturday Nights

Our Saturday Nights Service starts at 6:00 pm every Saturday, and usually goes till about 7:30 pm.  We have a time of singing worship where a couple different worship teams, as well as guest worship teams, lead worship and rotate different weeks.  It definitely is a very laid back atmosphere with some darker lighting and stage lighting.  Currently, we are in a series on Miracles where we are talking about the miracles of Jesus, as well as, praying for and believing in miracles in our own lives.  We love to optimize different media through the use of announcement videos, as well as communication through social media.

We have a nursery and a Saturday Nights Kids ministry for kids up to 12 where they spend time learning about Jesus and get to understand that lesson played out in different activities.

Please feel free and welcome to stop by and join us, we would love for you to spend a portion of your Saturday night with us and we can talk in person and answer any questions you may have.  You could always watch the service live or recorded through our website
www.thecrosssaves.org, at the top of the page click on "live stream" and click on the Saturday night file.

Thank you so much for your interest in Saturday Nights; hopefully we will see you soon!

GriefShare at The Chapel

Have you experienced the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend?
Those who have experienced the death of a loved one often find that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt they feel. This can be a confusing time when those experiencing loss feel isolated and have many questions about things they have never faced before.

GriefShare is for adults and meets weekly for 14 weeks in the spring at the Akron Campus and 14 weeks in the fall at the Green Campus to help those facing these challenges and help them move toward rebuilding their lives.

Participants are welcome to join any time during the 14-week period. Our next GriefShare group begins Tuesday,  February 17th, at 6:45pm at the Akron Campus room 202.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a nondenominational program open to all and designed for people who have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend.  Facing the death of a loved one can be challenging, painful, lonely, and even, confusing.  Society often tells us to “hurry up, and get over it,” but grief cannot be rushed.  To experience healing, restoration, and to move forward, we have to walk through and process it.  Whether your loss is recent or years ago, Grief Share is designed to help you do that.

Grief Share is a 13 week class for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one.  We offer a safe, confidential place to share and process grief, and to embark on a journey of healing.  Meetings include a video seminar and group discussion; a workbook is provided for note-taking and journaling.  The videos feature experts on grief recovery and real-life stories of people who have also experienced loss.  They are followed by discussion to help process what you’ve heard.

For more information or to register please call (216)759-0968 or send an e-mail to Charleen at

Sister Circle Medina April Meeting ~ It's a New Season!

The Bible tells us about the seasons of life. Solomon says, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven” – Ecclesiastes 3:1

Have you ever pondered and thought about how the seasons actually change, AND know when to change?  God created the four seasons - Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. They are based upon the rotation of the Earth as it orbits the Sun. The seasons change as the earth moves, but the sun in our planetary system remains constant, and everything revolves around it.

In many ways we see the signature of the same artist in our lives. Much like the earth, our lives should revolve around the SON, Jesus Christ. Our lives will change, and we will enter and exit many seasons, but the SON remains constant yesterday, today and forever!

We enter a new season of life when we get a new job, get married, have kids, kids become teens, kids leave home, when we move and when we retire – just to name a few.

But just like our Scripture verse says, to everything there is a season. Every aspect of our lives is as to a season. And there is a purpose for those seasons. There is a reason for the season. There is a purpose for the process.

Come join us at our April meeting as we talk about how stepping into a new season brings new changes, new challenges and births a new champion in YOU!!!

Sister Circle Medina meets every third Saturday of the month (excluding July and December). Doors open for fellowship at 9:30 a.m. and our meeting promptly begins at 10:00 a.m. Hot breakfast is provided. This is a free event.

Sister Circle Medina is a nonprofit organization that connects women of all walks of life through their commonalities and shared interest in God. Our mission is to edify, empower and equip women within our community to live abundantly in Christ. We build intentional relationships, strengthen women holistically and provide opportunities to serve our community for Christ.

Oasis of Hope - Post Abortion Recovery

Healing Hearts -  is an 8 week bible study that is helping to heal the heartbreak of abortion through God’s Word and love. Healing Hearts is led by women who are caring and understand. Millions of women who have had an abortion keep the secret buried deep inside, not talking about the hurt or grief they feel.  When emotions are suppressed they will show up in other areas of your life, becoming more damaging emotions, and destructive behaviors. Most women do not associate these emotions or behaviors to the abortion.  The good news is, there is a path out of this pain, there is hope and healing, and now is the time to begin. Call Oasis of Hope today ask for Jill 330-723-3600 X3 All information is strictly confidential. or email jill@oasisofmedina.com You can also visit our website @ www.oasisofmedina.com

National Day of Prayer Community Prayer Service

What is the National Day of Prayer?
The National Day of Prayer tradition predates the founding of the United States of America, evidenced by the Continental Congress’ proclamation in 1775 setting aside a day of prayer.  In 1952, Congress established an annual day of prayer and, in 1988, that law was amended, designating the National Day of Prayer as the first Thursday in May.

The community is invited to celebrate the 64th annual observance of the National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 7th at 7 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1241 5th Street, in Cuyahoga Falls.  This year’s theme is “Lord, Hear Our Cry,” from 1 Kings 8:28.  Join leaders and members of the Cuyahoga Falls community in prayer for our nation’s government, military, media, business, education, church and family.
