The Ohio Renaissance Festival is Ohio’s Premier Family Event, celebrating 25 Glorious Seasons!  Queen Elizabeth and over 100 costumed characters welcome you to the authentically re-created 16th Century English village.  Enjoy nearly 100 shows daily, browsing over 140 world-class artisans in the Medieval Marketplace, hearty food and drynk fit for kings, and the amazing human powered rides and games of skill. There’s something for all ages!

Forget your cares and step back in time to this 30-acre re-created 16th Century English village and enjoy over 400 years of fun in a single day! The festival offers something for everyone featuring nearly 100 shows daily on 11 stages, over 135 unique arts and crafts shops, hearty food and drink, games of skill and human-powered rides to amuse all ages.

Over 150 costumed characters welcome you to the village! Rub elbows with Royalty as you cheer your favorite knight to victory in the thrilling Full-armored Tournament Joust. Welcoming you to a festive day in the village are dueling swordsmen, rowdy pirates, nobles, peasants, and daring jugglers.

The sprawling landscape is dotted with hundreds of unique shops in the Medieval Marketplace featuring many one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted items. See time-honored crafts of glassblowing, stone carving, blacksmithing, leather tooling, boot making, and more demonstrated.

The air is filled with the scents and smells of the foods of the Renaissance period. Feast like Royalty on juicy, giant roasted turkey legs, fresh baked bread bowls overflowing with soups and stews, fish ‘n chips, steak-on-a-stake, succulent roasted corn on the cob.  There’s something for everyone’s taste buds!

Visitors of all ages will be amused by the games of skill and human-powered rides. Try your hand at archery and see if you’re a modern-day Robin Hood, or climb the castle tower and rescue the lovely damsel in distress.

Pumpkin Village

   
   

Step back hundreds of years into time when kings ruled the land and knights fought for honor.  See it all at "Medieval Fest" 2014 right here on the property of Mapleside Farms!  You will have the chance to see authentic reenactments of medieval combating, including warrior armor, medieval tents, and artisans.  The entire family will enjoy the visualization of true medieval fighting with the sounds of metal swords striking metal armor.  There will be plenty of interaction between you the warriors.  The Harvest Barn will be open with "Bag your Own Apples", fresh apple cider, and other harvest produce from the farm.  Pumpkin Village will be open as well.  The excitement begins 10am on Saturday & Sunday, September 20th & 21st!
 
 
Help us honor our police, firefighters, Paramedics, military men and women & veterans.  This will be a special harvest weekend honoring those that keep us safe.  We will have all of our fall attractions open like our Hayrides, Corn Maze, Super Slide, Jumping Pillow and many other fall family fun activities.  If you are an active member of our public safety system, actively serving in the armed forces or a US Veteran, we would like to honor you with half off your admission for this weekend.  It's our way of thanking those that put their lives on the line to keep us safe.
 
 
October 4th & 5th Pumpkinfest - Ohios Largest, 25 acres Pumpkin Patch!  This weekend is to celebrate all things Pumpkin!  Try your hand at the art of carving a Jack-o-Lantern in our Pumpkin Carving Contest or take a pumpkin carving class.  If you’re feelin' hungry, sign up for the ultimate Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest.  No matter what you do, make sure you come pick out your own pumpkins to carve, decorate in the craft tent, and take home to enjoy for the holidays!
  
  

October 11th & 12th Family Fall Foliage weekend promises to be the most beautiful weekend of the season with a million brilliantly colored leaves painted across the most picturesque valley in Ohio.  You'll observe a 50 mile panorama of shimmering seasonal foliage giving way to Autumn's end.  And don't forget your camera so you can capture those phenomenal Fall scenes that are sure to amaze you.  There'll be fun family activities galore on this absolutely fantastic weekend!
  

  

October 17th, 18th & 19th we invite all Super Heroes and Princesses to join the fun on Super Hero / Princess Weekend.  Kids of all ages will want to wear their favorite super hero or princess costume and meet the 'REAL' characters themselves!  There'll be face painting, special contests including "Best Super Hero Costume", Super Hero baked goods and so much more!  You can see why this is going to be a SUPER MAGICAL weekend.
  
  
October 25th and 26th Spookyfest will haunt you on this family-friendly weekend with spooky story times, spooky movie night, spooky games and the spookiest flash light corn maze adventure you could ever imagine!  We’ll host a Halloween Costume Parade especially for the kids.  We highly encourage all the kids to dress up in their costumes and enjoy Pumpkin Village to the fullest.
  
  

November 1st & 2nd Pumpkin Smash Bonus weekend will be half off admission to Pumpkin Village, and half off bag your own apples!  We encourage people to bring down their jack o' lanterns and offer a few ways to destroy them.  We'll have big ole' sledge hammers, pumpkin bowling and the main attraction will be a trebuchet for launching them.  Come out amd smash a pumpkin or two while enjoying all the beauty late fall has to offer!

James Hall Musical Workshop and Concert


Calling all singers and Choir members of Cleveland, Ohio.
  National and International recording artist  Professor James Hall will be conducting a musical workshop and a free concert to all.  If you would like to participate in Cleveland's first workshop choir with Professor James Hall you must pre-register October 1st thru October 31.  Enhance your vocal training, musical techniques, and much, much more.  The workshop rehearsals will begin December 1st thru 4th.  A pre-concert will be held that Friday night @ 8:00pm, the main concert will be held December 6th also featuring special guest Isaiah Templeton.  For complete registration details click the link below:

2014 Walk to End Alzheimer's Akron Walk

The 5th Annual Race for Maggie’s Place

The 5th Annual Race for Maggie’s Place.  A 9K and 5K race design inside the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and 1-mile fun run/walk for families.  All proceeds benefit the Zechariah House.
