Help MercyMe Create Documentary Film

2/15/2013

For the past 5 years, MercyMe’s Rock & Worship Roadshow has become one of Christian music’s favorite live shows and for the first time in the tour’s history, they are shooting a feature length documentary! In order to make this happen, MercyMe has launched a kickstarter campaign to fund this project and they need YOUR help! Their goal is to raise $340,000 by March 15th. As a fun incentive, there are different rewards for fans who contribute to this project including an invitation to the film premiere, limited edition hard copy DVD or Blu-Ray of the film, your name in the credits, admission to one of the tour dates, skype session with one of the bands, and much more. This is your chance to be a part of something big, so head over to kickstarter.com now to help contribute to this project!

“The road life” is a common expression in today’s American culture, what with television shows, web series and films depicting artists and bands and the lifestyles they lead while traveling the world. However, the main focus of these stories always surrounds the artists themselves, a biography of sorts. But what about the tour? Anyone who knows anything about road life knows that the execution of the tour is a story of its own, one full of excitement, drama, struggle and victory. This is the story we want to explore. – MercyMe
