Natalie Grant to Sing at SuperBowl Gospel Ceremonies

On the back of a very turbulent and controversial week for singer Natalie Grant ("Hurricane"), she has been invited to sing at the annual Super Bowl Gospel ceremonies.  The only NFL-sanctioned gospel concert, the Super Bowl Gospel concert will feature a packed line-up of gospel artists including Mary Mary, Donnie McClurkin, and Patti LaBelle.  Natalie expressed both her thankfulness to be a part of the high-profile concert event, as well as her unashamed allegiance to the Seattle SeaHawks on her Twitter:

"Headed to NYC for tonight. Honored to be a part. PROUD to be wearing this. "

In response, the SeaHawks Twitter let the singer know they appreciated both her singing and support:

We’re proud to have you on our side. Safe travels.

Natalie was the focus of entertainment-industry controversy this week as she told her Twitter followers that she exited the Grammys early.  Speculation swarmed as to what might have caused her exit; leading many to conclude that her exit was tied to some of the racy and controversial performances during the Grammys.
Even while this storm was brewing, Natalie kept her public voice focused on her main ministry - the prevention of human trafficking.  Since the Big Game is also ground zero for human trafficking, Natalie has informed fans to stay focused on this crime, and that her Christian world view has not been shaken this week:

As I head to NYC, I'm ever mindful of the increase in that will result because of the Super Bowl.  Thankful for the work of . We must be aware, take action, rise up. Human slavery is NOT ok.
