Jason Castro Commences Shooting for the GMC Movie “The Perfect Summer”

Nashville, TN – – On May 13, Word Entertainment’s Jason Castro commenced shooting for “The Perfect Summer” in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. The singer/songwriter has a role as a surf shop owner named Cody in “The Perfect Summer” which is due to premiere on GMC later this year. Castro, whose current single “Rise To You” is at radio now, can also be seen throughout the country with the Sidewalk Prophets this month and with Ryan Cabrera and Deleasa next month. Hillsong Live Set to Release 22nd Album, Glorious Ruins, on July 2

Nashville, Tenn. ––Hillsong LIVE will release their 22^nd live-recorded album, Glorious Ruins, on July 2. Recorded for the first time live in two locations - London, England and Sydney, Australia - Glorious Ruins is consistent with Hillsong’s passion to resource the church around the globe. The live album offers the church a new era of worship anthems that will cross multiple denominational and cultural boundaries.

Glorious Ruins is an acknowledgment of humanity and a bridge to redemption. Matthew West Takes Home ASCAP’s Christian Music Songwriter/Artist of the Year Award

Matt Redman’s “10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)” is Named ASCAP’s Christian Music Song of the Year

Nashville, Tenn. – The reasons to celebrate continue to add up for sixstepsrecords’ acclaimed worship leader Matt Redman. This year alone, Redman’s powerful single “10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)” has been certified Digital Gold by the RIAA, earned two GRAMMY® awards. The song is also up for “Top Christian Song” at the Billboard Music Awards, one of two nods for Redman for the award show. Adding to the worship anthem’s impressive honors came earlier in May when it was named ASCAP’s Christian Music Song of the Year at the ASCAP Christian Awards at the Franklin Theatre.

TobyMac Will Minister to Youth at Golf Camp

While most Christian Music artists are either touring or recording, TobyMac will take a portion of his summer to mentor young people through music (of course), but also through golf.

TobyMac will be hosting a Junior Golf Camp through Federation of Christian Athletes (FCA). The camp runs from July 14-18, and will be held at the Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

Targeted to 13-18 year olds, the camp will focus on golf technique, Bible, and living and spiritual life that's "In The Zone".

An avid golfer himself, TobyMac played college golf at Liberty University and placed 27th (out of 150) with PGA Tour player, Kevin Streelman, in the 2011 Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Mandisa In Studio Recording New Album

Mandisa shared with fans via Twitter that her spring and summer days will be spent recording her next album. The American Idol Season 5 finalist even came forward with the album title, Overcomer. The album will be released August 27th to much anticipation by fans.

Her last album, What If We Were Real, not only yielded blockbuster hits like "Stronger", "Waiting for Tomorrow" and "Good Morning", it also managed to secure a Grammy Nomination for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album; the 3rd Grammy nomination the artist has received.

In addition to recording, Mandisa also completed The 3 in 1 Tour alongside Brandon Heath and Laura Story.
