The Mark Rein Show

Mark Rein got into radio because he got a D in his first history class in college and decided a career as a history teacher might not work.  "I was already working at the college radio station, so the switch to broadcasting came pretty easy," says Rein.

After working in secular radio for nine years, he moved to Christian radio and has been working at 95.5 The Fish since it went on the air in 2001.  Mark currently hosts the popular Mark Rein Show from 3 to 7pm weekdays.  He says he wants his show to be fun, entertaining, encouraging and informative, while honoring Jesus in everything.

A pastoral assistant at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Royalton, Mark leads worship and preaches, among other duties.  As a stand-up comedian, he performs regularly at comedy clubs, churches, special events and private parties.

Mark plays guitar, used to belong to a Bavarian slap-dancing club, and thinks that the video of a monkey riding a dog is hilarious.  So does his 6-year-old daughter, Esther. His wife, Kate, thinks it’s just dumb.
