25th Anniversary Celebration (Church)
Location: Unity Holiness Ministries Church of God In Christ
In honor of our 25th anniversary Unity Holiness Ministries will host a spirit filled weekend. Celebration begins Thursday night at 7 pm with guest speaker Evangelist Elaine Wright from Michigan. On Friday night at 7pm there will be powerful gospel music featuring Supt. Emmit Nevels and the Nevels Sisters. Events conclude on Celebration Sunday which will feature guest speaker Supt. William Wright from Memphis, TN. We invite the community to come, be blessed and take part in the celebration.

South Ridge Christian Academy 8th Annual Harvest Festival (Family Fun Event)
Time: 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Location: South Ridge Christian Academy 924 Center Rd Conneaut, OH 44030
The festival will be held in the South Ridge Gym and on the front lawn by the Gym. The festival is open to the public. The theme of the festival is Western Round-Up. There will be lots of great food to eat including a grilled chicken dinner on Friday, October 1st, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. In addition to great food, there will be games, crafts, baked goods, produce, hay rides, a paint ball shoot, and much more. Live entertainment will include the Conneaut Town Choir. The Festival will feature a silent and specialty auction with items ranging from special event and sports tickets to gift cards, memorabilia items and even a beef cow. There will be fun, food and fellowship for all. The community is invited. Admission is free. Call the Academy office for more information at 440-593-5840.

Rich Dalessandro Memorial Fall Turkey 5k, 2-Mile Run/Walk, & Kid's Fun Run (Sports)
Time: 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM
Location: Dalton Intermediate School
About the Event: This race was founded by the Dalessandro family in memory of their son and brother, Rich Dalessandro. who passed away after a strong battle with leukemia. The race will run throughout the Village of Dalton, where Rich was from. Proceeds will be split between The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help fund research for this disease and a local family battling leukemia. Event Description: This event is part of the 2010 Subway Challenge Series and is a certified 5k course. There will be fun for everyone with a Health Fair from 7-11am, DJ, raffles, donuts & cider, and much more! Post-race massages will also be offered for participants! There will be multiple basket raffles and you can purchase tickets for $2 each or 3 for $5 to benefit the above mentioned causes.
Hoops Of Hope (Youth Event)

Can shooting free throws change someone's life? Yes! On October 2nd, you are invited to shoot 250 or more free throws to raise funds to support Hoops of Hope initiative in Zambia to dig a fresh water well for a small village of 600 people who presently do not have clean water. All you have to do is contact Pat Smith at 440-391-1239 and he will get you started. Be a part of this exciting opportunity to make a difference!
